"I first met Ryan three years ago when he came to our studio as a background singer. A few months later, we started working on music together. Two years ago, he signed to Notown Sound. The songs we were recording for his debut EP are undoubtedly some of my favorite songs I've ever worked on. Every aspect of his voice--his tone, his nuance, his phrasing--was just otherworldly. He was a true original.

And as crushed as I am at the loss of his musical collaboration, I'm exponentially more profoundly sad at the loss of a truly great man--kind, sincere, humble, never mean, never vain. Truly one of the sweetest, gentlest souls I've ever met.

Farewell, friend. May our paths cross again."

"Ryan was the first artist I had the pleasure of recording in a professional studio. He made me feel so welcomed, and was one of the nicest, most humble guy's I've ever known. He always had a good attitude, with a smile on his face that would light up a room. His voice was like no other and he was extremely talented. We've played his music for just about every person we've worked with who's walked through our door, as he's the perfect example of what we're all about. It's devastating to hear the news and my heart goes out to his family and friends. Thank you for everything Ryan, rest in peace. You will never be forgotten."
